Beautiful, contemporary and simply inspiring are the ceramic artworks of Isabelle Abramson, a young self taught artist who currently lives and creates in Boston.

Intricate patterns are created from porcelain, silver, gold and platinum and all of the pieces are hand signed by the artist before being fired.

Check out her online gallery here!

Cut out Magic

An enchanting paper sculpture collection by Helen Musselwhite who creates whimsical artwork inspired by the natural world!

As the artist states: “Each piece combines the hand cutting, folding and scoring of a wide range of papers and card that are further worked on to create patterned and textured surfaces. They are then used to build scenes in box frames which are often complex and consist of many layers. This process means that each item of work is truly individual with no two pieces the same.”

The Enchanted Doll

Marina Bychkova is a young super talented doll maker. Her porcelain doll figures are so delicate and expressive, a true tribute to feminine beauty. The brand name “Enchanted Doll” origins from a fictional story of Paul Gallico, where a woman who created dolls put so much love in them and consequently enchanted people at first sight with their life-like beauty.

As the artist states: “My need to work with dolls became evident as a calling when I was six years old. As a child I became painfully aware and appalled at the mediocrity and the uninspired dullness of mass-produced dolls. This profound frustration coupled with my natural sensibilities inspired me to create my own dolls, suited to my own ideas of feminine beauty. A particular point of interest for me was not only the life-like articulation of the body, but also the beautiful balance between a delicate form and an extraordinary function of a doll.”

Haris Kaminari is the talented jewelry designer behind “Charismatic Creations”! A successful word pun combining her name with her creations, don’t you think? A very elegant and feminine collection combining silver with a variety of materials such as semi-precious stones, sea shells and glass.

As Haris mentions in her bio: “My inspiration and motivation is the perfect, wonderful creations of Nature and making jewellery is my way to observe, study and get in touch with them. My studies, which include painting, graphic designing and jewellery designing and making, make me pay a lot of attention to shapes, forms and colour and the balance and interaction among them.”

FUNNY SKY

A charming origami collection by Funny Sky! Her elegant creations are handmade using paper made in Japan and decorated with genuine Swarovski crystals and Japanese beads.
Origami, (from oru meaning “folding” and kami meaning "paper") is the traditional Japanese art of paper folding. The goal of this art is to create a representation of an object using geometric folds and crease patterns preferably without gluing or cutting the paper, and using only one piece of paper.

The number of basic origami folds is small, but they can be combined in a variety of ways to make intricate designs. The most well known form is probably the Japanese paper crane. In general, these designs begin with a square sheet of paper whose sides may be different colors or prints. (article from wikipedia)
