One Perfect Day is an online handmade accessories shop with a beautiful and feminine collection of delicate and vintage ruffle cuffs. Autumn Sea Ruffles. Cuff- Blue Linen Ruffle Cuff with Vintage Crochet Lace

This one-of-a-kind cuff belongs to the Ruffle Series and it's the first one in blue. There are actualy two different hues of blue: an icy, arctic blue cotton and a dark powder blue in linen. The cuff has four different layers starting with an ultra-thin cotton in ivory which is pleated. Next comes the arctic blue cotton which is also pleated, as is the dark powder blue which comes on top of that. The top layer is a re-cycled and re-purposed piece of granny's masterful vintage lace. Ribbons of grey, white and wenge brown finish it off. The brown ribbon ties around the wrist and secures the cuff into place with a bow.

The White Queen Cuff

This cuff won the European Street team challenge: In The Magic Castle! At the time I was watching a series about the Tudor monarchs, so it's easy to see where I found my inspiration. The jewels, the jewelery, the ruffles and flounces, the gowns, the robes! The beauty of it all!! Magnificent! So here is my modernday version of that extravagant era, with a hint of shabby chic.

The base is a vintage piece of crisp natural cotton carefuly pleated but left purposely tattered at top and bottom. Half-covering this lovely cotton is a large,truly exquisite piece of granny's crocheted lace. Look at the pictures on the right to get a closer look of this-it's such a work of art! And above these there is lace, ribons, plenty of baubles, buttons, a large bronze heart charm,zircons, gold accents and more. It fits any wrist because it ties with a cotton ribbon, securely and elegantly, in a bow.

Red Ruffles. Cuff.Arm Band - Neo-Romantic pleated cuff in Red Cotton with vintage crochet lace and grey cotton ribbon.

This is the first red cuff in the Ruffle Series -which have up to now been no other colour but white. This particular cotton used here is an enticing thin cotton - so fine that it's almost gossamer-thin. It gives the cuff a feeling of lightness under the heavy crochet lace that comes over it and weighs it down. The grey ribbon that ties the cuff around your wrist or arm is a heavyweight cotton ribbon that contrasts with the delicacy of the cotton ruffles and gives it a more modern touch. Fits all sizes. Can be worn as cuff or arm band.

Lilac Lady Cuff - Neo-Romantic white cotton ruffle cuff with vintage crocheted lace and lilac leather trim

Made from pleated vintage white cotton and granny's vintage crocheted lace this cuff is similar to the White Queen Cuff but without the addition of that extra sparkle and fanfare suitable to a queen. The Lilac lady is just as stately and commanding of presence but with a more understated elegance. Over the cotton ruffles and beautiful lace is a lilac vintage leather ruffle trim that is further embellished with a white satin ribbon. The edges of the cotton-and one edge of the lace- have been left raw for a more contemporary shabby chic look. Expect more fraying as you wear it for that lived-in look of a favourite garment. The cuff fits any wrist as it attaches with a sturdy cotton ribbon which is long enough to make a generous bow and also hang down fetchingly for that extra sense of movement.Please look at the pictures on the right to see length of ribbon. The feel of this cuff is something you cannot see in the pictures, but the soft and sumptuous feel of the natural cotton against your wrist is realy something special.

Ice Blue Ruffles. Cuff. Neo-Romantic Cotton Cuff With Ruffles and vintage crochet lace

This cuff is made of three seperate layers.

The bottom layer is a really old ultra-thin cotton the colour of ivory which is pleated and peaks out at the bottom of the cuff.

The middle layer is an ice blue cotton which is thin and crisp and also pleated.

The third and top layer is a piece of granny's superb crochet which has been recycled into this cuff. It is all topped with a white cotton ribbon that ties the cuff securely to your wrist.

A rich golden brass .38 caliber bullet casing is deeply etched in a wavy line pattern with an unpolished natural quartz crystal point. I just love these natural quartz crystal points: the natural inclusions, fractures and clouds lend texture to an already inspiring natural beauty! The deep etching on the bullet casing also provides texture and provides just that little different look to a modern trend!

Bullet and Crystal Pendant measures 1-5/8 inches long, 3/8" in diameter and attaches to a 26" antiqued brass curb chain with twisted bronze wire and sterling silver spacers. This necklace is 25" long and has a lobster clasp with two faceted crystals at the neck for a little added interest. This is a great layering piece or just to wear on its own!

Luger nickel plated 9mm bullet casings are deeply etched with a Greek key pattern which reveals the solid brass of the bullet casing with ooooooh so sexy silver tone and aged brass chains that gently sway as you move! Each casing/chain combination is then further enhanced with Bali-style sterling silver spacers then hung on my own handmade sterling silver swan neck earwires.

Earrings measure 4-1/4" long from tip longest chain to top of earwire. Bullet casings measure approximately 3/4" in length and 3/8" in diameter.
