Armillata Designs is all about elegant vintage jewelry. This week’s Giveaway is a beautiful necklace approximately 18 inches long (46 cm) with a 1.5 inch (4 cm) coral dangle suspended on an antique brass plated chain and finished with a lobster clasp and coral nugget drop.

A single antiqued brass bird wings its way home, bearing a rich cluster of brilliant berries, nuggets of coral capped with delicate filigree. This fine piece will be shipped to the lucky winner in a recycled paper gift box and it is more than certain that will win you over.

The designer notes: “I've been making jewelry, in one form or another, since I was a child. I strive to give my pieces a touch of antiquity, and I look for inspiration in everything from rough-cut ancient Roman glass and stone jewelry to the most recent gorgeous Art Nouveau babble I've been forced to admit I can't afford.”

I love, love, love this necklace - it reminds me of the berry bushes in my grandparents' yard - always full of little birdies. :)
